On the site Co-FoundersLab, I replied to a thread where an upcoming entrepreneur was seeking advice for her new business. A number of people replied, but the tone and criticism was toxic. I felt I could make a difference, so I contributed to the thread.
From CoFoundersLab: These people are all so cynical and depressing. They are so focused on all the ways that you're NOT going to succeed. Forget that nonsense. Focus on how you are already succeeding and your road map to becoming a live product. Shift your language. Powerfully state what you are vs. what you want to be:
Then get to work under your new context:
Network, network, network. Remain true to your vision and authentic with your passion and you will succeed. Troy Here is the original thread: https://cofounderslab.com/discuss/i-am-just-starting-out-i-have-an-idea-and-no-funding-where-do-i-go-from-here I've made the choice to begin developing a program to share my tools of language, communication and human interaction. This program will be initially offered to a small group of participants across a variety of industries and levels of experience.
As the program develops I will add more participants and start creating various forms of publications and programs to make a difference in peoples lives. My intention is to show people the power of language and the possibility of deep and meaningful interactions with everyone they meet. Stay tuned for more details. Troy |
